"Genius Kits?"

We have used this idea several times and it's always been a hit.
But our rules where slightly different than Barbs they where more in line
with barbs.
In addition to cutting we also allowed bending where appropriate.
We allowed the use of glue, white, epoxy or glue gun.
Nails could not be added unless part of the kit & could be used as fasteners
and/or part of the design.
The use of tempera paint was allowed.
We required that all pieces be used (this also included the bag or box the
items came in) and nothing be added but paint & glue.
It should also be noted that the list of items changed every time we used
the theme. It all depended on what was laying around at the time. The
important thing was that each boy was given the same exact items to work
with.
Prizes where given for best idea, most unusual, best made, etc.
