Dear All,
My name is Matt and I am a 20 year old college student active in Boy
Scout summer camps and scout troops. I have never written anything on
the list, even though I have been on the list for many months now, I
have felt no strong need to until now.
I am ashamed of the way some people lately have been personally
attacking other. People have not been talking about issues or debating
issues, but attacking peoples beliefs or personally attacking people on
what they said. I belief this is called flamming. This does not live
up to the scout oath and law. Now, any leader in any group would not
want his scouts to do this to other scouts, so when we are supposed to
set the example we are not doing a good job.
So lets get back to what this list is supposed to do---Help Scouters
share ideas not personally attack one another
