"Scouts NewEngland" Online Service

Greetings,

I would like to invite anyone that is a member of BSA and who lives
in the New England states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts,
New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont to join a Regional Scouting
group that I started called "Scouts NewEngland" (SNE).

We offer a FREE daily (five-day-a-week) Scouting E-mail News and
Discussion Group and a Web Site full of Regional Scouting Information.

Scouts NewEngland works very similar to SCOUTS-L, JAMBO-97, ARROW-L
and other Scouting E-mail groups that you may belong to or heard of,
except we're a group dedicated to the New England region.

The SNE E-mail group in June 1997. Followed by the SNE Web site
which went online in December 1997. The concept of SNE and a
regional Scouting resource was started by me to provide opportunities
for members of BSA throughout New England to interact with each other
on a personal, unit and Council level. It offers you a place to
compare notes on your unit and Council program, to discuss problems
and find solutions. You can learn about and make announcement of
Scouting events and Leader training sessions, you can make contacts
with Scouters all over New England, and you can ask questions and
find answers, or simply talk about anything Scouting related.

Since December we have had 9014 visitors to our Web Site and as the
Webmaster I am very proud of this.

Our E-mail membership is growing weekly and we have subscribed
members that represent 19 different BSA Councils from the 6 states
our group covers.

Come and pay us a visit and join our group if you live in our area
won't you. All Scouts and Scouters are welcome !
