I too, think this would be a big mistake. I am even one of your more
"feminist" supporters, but as a mother, this should remain for boys. I do
think, however, that some changes in girl scouts should take place. Almost
everyone I've talked to says their daughters have dropped out due to lack of
interest and boredom. Girls these days want to explore outdoors, do
woodworking, and play the games too. Of course, I haven't really checked the
guidelines for girl scouts, but if they are like they were when I was younger,
I agree with the kids....Boring.
