Unofficial BSA JOTI registration

(EC92@AOL.COM)
Fri, 28 Aug 1998 11:24:47 -0400

and the URL is: http://members.aol.com/post7388/

OK, all the links do not work on all the viewers I test things with, but you
*can* register if you want to participate in JOTI (and we'll list if you'll
also be JOTA if you tell us so we try to get even more people connected). My
Explorer Post will verify memberships as much as possible in BSA councils and
will then put out a list of all the various addresses, IRC's, ICQ's, etc. etc.
to those whoo apply about a week before JOTI starts on October 17th.

In addition, and more details will follow as the youth write something for me
first, would be a mailing list through Dynapolis and courtesy of Doug Gentry
that would be monitored and broken into if something occurred that was deemed
suspicious Youth Protection-wise, so that EVERYONE can participate if they
sign up for the list when its announced. This requires several steps, from
formalizing things with Doug and getting an intro written to getting the
entire Post through YPG through finding some help if we find we don't have
enough people to cover 48 hours, so it'll take a little longer.

So there will be other announcements.

My apologies to the world community, the youth are from the US and are US-
oriented, whereas three of the people most interested were from other
countries. When you get to the Program Choice box leave it on Scouts for Boy
Scouts and Girl Scouts for WAGGS and we'll have the youth fix it ASAP. Just
tell us country when we get to the time zone box and I'll help them understand
what they did wrong.
