Hi! I'm a real novice to the "net". I find it significantly
awesome. I have visited the net before with the aid of my wife and son.

I joined Scouts as an adult with my eldest son and my wife in 1977.
There are 13 years between our two sons. So when one was getting out,
the other was starting; thus our tenure.
Several months ago I accepted the challenge of being our council's
first Risk Management Chairman. That's what steered me to SCOUTS-L.
Your list came recommended by the host of the Bowline web site, Doug
Gentry.
My wife and I have gone through the Cub chairs together. She is our
district Cub Training Chair. After Cubbing with my eldest, I went on
with him into the troop, becoming a Scoutmaster. I'm serving on my 15
year old son's troop committee. I was fortunate to serve in other
capacities, but I don't want to continue to boor you.
I am very active in my church and tie my Scouting service in as part
of my outreach ministry. My signature is always with the same message:
PEACE,
Jan
