15 palms

John M. Teske (Jmteske@AOL.COM)
Sun, 12 Jul 1998 17:35:43 EDT

Luke Teske of the Potawatomi Area Council in Wisconsin earned 124 merit badges
as of 1994. There was enough time left after earning his Eagle for him to
earn 15 palms. He wears five silver palms on his Eagle ribbon.

He has earned the Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII religious awards. He was
also presented with the Silver Good Citizens medal by the Sons of the American
Revolution.

He also earned the Explorer GOLD award.

He has done a trek at Philmont in 1992. He attended the Jamboree in 1993. He
went to Philmont to attend NJLIC in 1994. He was on NJLIC staff in 1995.
After that he was invited to be a Ranger and has done that for the last three
years including 1998.

He loves Scouting. He has learning problems in school but the Scout way of
'learning by doing' is just perfect for him. I don't know where he'd be
without the Scouting program!

A proud father

PS Sorry I buggered up the first message. I learned computers as a goal for
my 1994 Wood Badge Course. I enjoy it but I'm still learning.
