Bob Morehead posted a reply to my original message, that was
quite detailed and very good advice, but doesn't begin to
approach the area of my problem. All of the items in Bob's
post were, to me, fairly clear-cut and obvious. I have
replied to him in a seperate message.
What I am faced with is not so mundane as an employee's misuse
of company resource, or mistreatment of co-workers, or the like.
Just to provide a few more details to this, it is not my current
employer that I had this problem with. It is a prospective
employer. Also, the problem is not as clear cut as Bob's
examples. What is involved is a problem concerning business
philosophy/ethics vs. personal philosophy/ethics. Ethics being,
in this case, not what one normally thinks of as ethics.
I also want to thank the list for the phenominal response -
those who replied have sent me over quota, and I had to take
some drastic action to aviod the deletion of everything I had
in there.
