A Religious Observant Wood Badge Course

What: A _Religious_ Observant Wood Badge Course (NE II-91)
When: August 19-27, 1998 (Wednesday-Thursday)
Where: Camp Siwanoy, Wingdale, NY (1 hour North of NY City)
Who: Sponsored by the Northeast Region

Objective: This week long course is designed to accommodate the religious
needs of the Traditional Jewish, LDS, Christian and Islamic faiths. In
addition, it will attempt to accommodate anyone else who feels a need for
formal training and cannot, for whatever reason, fit their schedule or
religious obligations around the demands of a more traditional (weekend)
Wood Badge Course.

Religious Services: Time for organized religious observances for the three
communities will be made available. No formal training sessions will take
place from Friday afternoon until after nightfall on Saturday to accommodate
participants and staff of the Jewish faith.

Food: Dietary needs of both the Islamic and Jewish faiths will be met and,
in addition, vegetarian meals will be provided upon request.
