I fully agree Eagle should not be a prerequisite for a state drivers
lic.
Now on a new note Since when is having a merit badge sash a requirement
to
be a scout. I cannot find that in any of the references I have. With
that
how can a BOR require a candidate for Eagle to have a sash. The boy
showed
for his BOR and was required to resubmit his application because he was
not
wearing nor did he have a merit badge sash. What do we have now uniform
police
who require additional requirements for Eagle? I do not see a sash as
being required for advancement. Is this in the boys best interest or
are
adults trying set their personal standards as they see fit? Is this Boy
Scouting or uniform policies set by adults? I ask Why?
