Mike,
While we are on the topic of seemlngly dumb things, or smart things
that don't appear to be so to the average observer, namely me... why has
the background of the COR position patch been changed to/established as
tan. The SC/IR (it's predecessors) position patchs had a light blue
background, which has been used for some time to indicate district
positions, vis the District Committee patch. The COR is the ONLY
automatic/ex officio district committee member, and should, to my way of
thinking wear the light blue background color. Using tan as the
background color would seem to distance these folks from the Exploring
and Cub Scout uniform colors.
