Hmmm,
Lets see here. Some religions of the past worshipped the sun...oops,
better not put that on a patch. OH NO! Some thought that the buffalo
was a god...scratch that one. Fire!...well some of the in the past and
some in the present still worship fire, can't have that on the patch.
A picture of someone!, heaven forbid,...that might be a graven image!
Don't forget the gods of the earth...that crosses out any image of
the environment. In our misdirected efforts to be Politically
Correct we can find a reason to toss out virtually any element you
might want to put on a patch.

Well, that leaves us with a nice blank white patch. OOPs, cant do that
because in some religions that is the color of mourning.

Have I been absurd? Yes, but can you see the road we are going down?
The unfortunate thing is that it is the adults that are doing the
driving. The solution is simple...if you dont like the patch, don't
wear it!

Look around. It seems that CSPs and virtually all other patches change
on a daily basis. There is really no such thing as a uniform uniform
scout. Relax, enjoy scouting. WIth the rest of the world hell bent on
destroying itself over minor issues, lets keep the craziness out of
scouting.
