Re: Roundtable Budget

----------

Hi Henry!
I am posting this you personally & to the list, because
I need your guidance ASAP.
I have recently taken the job of Cub RT comm. ( the 3rd this year)
Our roundtables Attendance has really taken a dive. Now it was never
GREAT to begin with, but for a number of reasons it has just about
died, 2 months ago my Husband & I were the ONLY people in attendance.
I have already made arrangements with Henry for his RT Handouts and
I am really looking forward implementing some fresh ideas but first I
have to get people there!!!
My question is this; I am meeting with our new DE (we haven't had one for
a month or so). I want to ask him about a roundtable budget. Is there such
a thing? For the last few months I have xeroxed at the school where I am
a PTA officer but today is the last day of school so that will end.I have
used my
own supplies to produce the craft items ect. But in all seriousness I
can't keep
continuing to do so. My Husband is a construction foreman & we have
decided that I not work (for pay!!!)so that I can be involved with my
children's
school & activities full time. This is what we WANT to do. But it is
difficult
to be absorbing
the costs of my volunteer work. I already absorb the little *extra* costs
for the 2 dens I lead, as many , if not all of us do.

Is requesting a budget for RT a legitimate request??
You can email me privately at fourfive@cavemen.net or
post to the list. Thank-You in advance for your assistance.

Yis,
Mary Fournier
