Life rank requirements thanks

Thanks to everyone who responded. Part of my concerns is that I am just
"Acting SM" for the 3 month period, and don't want to step on the real
SMs toes by not keeping everything going correctly.

The real SM is one that is in agreement with our district advancement
group that "we will not allow 13 year olds to get eagle". He has also
been less than supportive when boys would complete MBs that it took him
till much older to complete. Currently we have 2 of the boys who
crossed over Feb 97 who are 2 months from completing time for Life, both
of these boys will turn 12 about 1 Oct, so if they keep going they will
be done with Eagle requirements long before they even turn 13. Both of
the boys are very active and along with current Life scout are taking
leadership of the troop and recruiting new boys to rebuild since we are
now missing the "problem" boys which kept Webelos from wanting to come
to the troop.

Thanks again to all ---YIS Gladys Jenner, Treasurer & Acting SM
