First of all your message was totally blank. I have quoted it

thing is my signature line. This is becoming a common problem on this
list for me as well as for several other list members.

I CAN see what you wrote by hitting VIEW and then PAGE SOURCE.
I only have this problem with the SCOUTS-L list. All other mail is
normal.

Now to address your attendance problem at events, I would try a
two prong attack. First, find something the boys want like free movie
tickets
or neat patches or whatever. Give these to boys who attend the events
ONLY.
Second, find some way to recognize these boys at Pack meetings
(neat flag doodle or pizza for top % attendance den).
