Competition Ladder for Knots

Easy stuff, for any size groups. I know this looks complicated, but it goes.
Divide up boys in groups of 4-8 (patrols?) , depending on overall group size.
You want at least three circles.

Each group stands facing into a circle, each boy holding a 3-foot piece of
line. Leader stands in front of hall, calls out a knot. Each boy ties said
knot and as soon as it's done throws line into center of circle.* Repeat until
every one in the original circles have successfully tied that first knot.

*First ones (or maybe pairs) done from each group makes a **new circle**.

Repeat with second knot... indiv circle winners again join the **new circle**.
When you have finished all the knots you like, you have a pretty good-sized
**new circle**.. you can now run another elimination round or just have
individual knots done and see who can do them first.

The advantage to this is that the kids who need to practice their knots the
most do them the most times.
