Here's all I can find, in the Guide to Safe Scouting, Page 15, all in bold
print:
"The Boy Scouts of America prohibits the use of alcoholic beverages and
controlled substances at encampments or activities on property owned and/or
operated by the Boy Scouts of America, or at any activity involving
participation of youth members."
That seems to be it. Seems to me that if your Council or District holds a
banquet at a non-Council owned facility, and doesn't invite any youth, you
can have a beer, uniform or no.
Of course, your Council may have policies of its own.
