Bullroarers-the less dangerous way

Yup, swinging that piece of wood looks great. It also looks like three kids
bonked in the head per message.

My kids made the same thing out of some plastic hose they found from a harware
store. It was with the Dryer vent duct stuff, but it wasn't as big - an 8 year
old could hold it.

Find the right length and swing it around your head - it roars and changes
pitch easier, plus its lighter. And if you cut a clean end for it so someone
doesn't get cut by the end (I heated an old butter knife and rounded the edge
and removed the rough cuts).

Where'd they get the idea? They saw it in the dollar store down the road and
mom wouldn't buy it. Dad, however, was the sucker who did at the hardware
store (we were buying some for a school project already, whats a few more
feet?)
