The "Troop Committee Guidebook", page 59, states:
"The committee meeting is attended by all committee members and the
Scoutmaster." <snip>
"The Scoutmaster is not actually a member of the troop committee, and has
no vote."
This sounds like the good folks in Irving don't invision ASM's even attending.
As to how our Troop does it, ASM's are welcome, attend, voice opinions
(vociforously), but cannot vote.
