Well, basically, Chuck, if you are talking about US public school education,
we aren't teaching them much of anything. Mostly thanks to dead
administrators like this one apparently is. And no, I don't doubt this story
could be true. Remember the adage:
"Bureaucracy is the birthplace of incompetence."
