F/U on Over-reaction

Thanks to all for your responses. It's great to know I'm not alone!

But the saga continues...

Our Pack Committee voted last fall to designate the funds earned from
the Trails End Poporn Sale for individual uniforming needs. (This is not
the issue) To make a long story short(?) this was handled (in my
opinion) very poorly on our District level and the end result was that
the Committee was forced to rehash, over and over, the decision,
reconsidered the decision and it was upheld. Because our COR, UC, DC
and (believe it or not) DE had met all together with this family
(unbeknownst to the Committee or myself), I included them on the agenda
at my Committee meeting last night.

Not only did the UC and the DC show up with only uniform shirts, AGAIN,
they each actually stood and declared that uniforms are not used here
(meaning this area of Maine, I presume) and that each of us have the
right to interpret the meaning of "full uniform" in our own way!

My husband, myself, and my Den Chief son have worked very hard to set
the uniforming example for this unit. These people are SO dead set
against full uniforming that I'm not sure where to go with this...

Thanks Again, Lee Hudson
