Committee Voting

Hi, I'm turning to the great knowledge of the group again. I hope you
can help.
Our troop will soon be reevaluating our troop bylaws and insuring that
they are up to par. In our bylaws, we include what makes up the troop
committee and who the voting members of the troop committee are.
My question to the group is: Is there any written policy (by national)
that includes or excludes Assistant Scoutmasters as voting members? I
seem to recall that somewhere it specifically states that Scoutmasters
can not vote (and I do realize that S.M and ASMs are technically not
members of the committee). How does your troop do it? If anyone has a
copy of their bylaws, I would appreciate receiving them as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please e-mail personally or the
group too.
Thanks,
Tim Nickson
