Re: Frustrated Scout

Isn't summer camp coming up? Wouldn't there be ample opportunity for your
frustrated scout to finish/"make up" the things he missed at a week of camp?

One of my sons is just hanging in there until summer camp to finish up some
First Class and Second Class requirements. He just doesn't have a choice in
the matter.

Is your frustrated scout involved in other activities that prevent him from
attending all the campouts? Maybe he is otherwise "committed" and can not
attend every troop function. But a recommendation of summer camp to help
"catch up" could be a happy solution - unless the kid just really doesn't
like camping. Maybe Mom or Dad could be registered and help serve as leadership
and maybe attendance would improve....
