I don't usually CROW but....

I don't usually post here when good things happen in our Troop... I
didn't even post when my own son made Eagle...but....
Over this past weekend Troop 47 of Foster City, CA (a place built on past
salt flats where there is not a pre-developer rock or tree anywhere, had
two Patrols entered in our Councils two District Camporee,,, and....
(roll the drums) not they did not come in first and second places...
they TIED for FIRST PLACE OVERALL of the over 40 patrols particpating.....
We only took in about 4 First Place ribbons in the 14 events... but we
were consistant in all areas........
I have to say that one cmplaint by some Scouts of our now
one-year-in-position ScoutMaster is that his SM Confrences are too
tough... that he reviews knots all the way up to Eagle... but hey... no
one is complaining today....
