A (not so) simple question.

Apologies in advance if I am opening an issue which has been covered in
recent memory.
Questions:
1. Has any Troop or group developed a written policy on content development
for their web page with regard to the use of photos of Scouts, Scouts
names, etc. I have communicated with a great number of people regarding
practices in this regard, and that is not really my interest. I have yet,
though, to find anyone with a written policy.
2. What do the list members think about the role of a written policy for
net content in this age of litigation. Is there a Troop and Council safety
issue (apart from the child protection issues) or is my medical background
making me overly paranoid about the litigation potentials of web content
where young people are involved.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts on these questions.
