Welcome to scouting, first of all. Congrats on your son achieving his AOL.
Great day for a Web. Since I really only have experience with my pack, I can only
use that as a baseline. We have always done the two ceremonies together. We
bridge our Webs in Feb at our Blue and Gold. We do it then to allow the boys to
get camping without parents under their belts before the big camping season starts
in late Spring.
From my experience, the two ceremonies work very well together, almost so that
they are one large ceremony. Make a big deal out of it. Until he makes Eagle,
this is the biggest deal.
