Indoor Campfire Meeting

Since this campfire is indoors, it's ok to use electricity. Tie several
strips of orange, red, and yellow crape paper to a small box fan and place
it on its side. Raise it up just a bit so that air can come through from
underneath. When the fan is turned on, the paper moves about, similar to
flames. Place some wood around it to camouflage it and there you have a
fire. I saw this done at the "Akela Calls Again" Central Region's Cubbing
Conference in 1994, when the campfire program was done in a football
stadium and no real fire was allowed.
