A new twist on adult recognition

Kim Moye (kmoye@SUN2177.SPD.DSCCC.COM)

Well, we just had our Pack's Blue and Gold and since I'm always trying to
find "new" awards, I thought I would pass these on to this list.

The pack presented me with a neckerchief from the tigers (they used the
tiger cub organizer neckerchief), Wolfs, Bears and Webelos with the boys
and leaders signing the appropriate ones. I don't know how I'll display them
yet, but I'll find a way :)

The second part was an old award with a new twist. They gave me a basket
to hold (okay, I then knew the "eggceptional" leader spiel was coming). They
took advantage of Easter candy being on displayed.

They had the boys called up to bring these eggs:

Starburst--for that burst of energy I use up at Pack meetings.
Milky Way--for going to the ends of the galaxy to ensure a good time.
Snickers--for making the pack laugh.
Dove--for flying high.
Creme filled--for all the good I do "inside" the pack.
etc.

It was quite impressive to see these boys just keep coming. By the time they
were down, the basket must have weighed 5-8lbs.

I later found out, I had received something in the basket from every boy.

And the diet starts after the candy is gone :)

yis,
