How to wear Mother's Pins [slight SPAM]

A few weeks ago some more comment appeared about wearing Mother's pins
[on the uniform]. Several thoughts were advanced, and it sorta hung for
a bit.

Today aat the council office I saw the solution to the problem - a
display "pendant" ribbon. This ribbon looks like a suspension ribbon
for a "round-the-neck" type medal, except there's no medal at the end -
the two ends just come to a point. The pins are hung on either side of
teh ribbon as the boy maked rank in both cub and boy scouts. The cun
side is blue with a slightly smaller contrasting yellow ribbon, while
the scout side is red with the OG contrasting ribbon. The unit is
called, Mother's Pride (R) and is made by SCP Enterprises, PO Box 1051,
Riveerton, UT, 84065 (801) 254 2266. My council got the idea from
sompleace like this and bought them and they seem to be selling well, at
$ 5.00 per.

Other leaders at the service center said they sew two bits of ribbon to
a safety pin or ribbon bar (over near the cub stuff) and present it to
the mother the first time one of her boys earns anything that has an
attendant Mother's pin.
