12 Year-Old Patrol Leader Deported

Some of you may remember my request last spring for help from readers of
Scouts-L in preventing the deportation of the family of a very talented
Scout in my Troop. Many of you responded with useful advice, but none
more so than Terry Howerton II, and Ed Henderson. I would like to thank
them publicly for the incredible lengths they went to in seeking help
from Congress and others.
For the many of you who wrote to me requesting to be kept up to date on
