How about having a FAQ list that includes to two-digit numerical code
associated with each position?

I don't know about a FAQ, but MC is committee member. Most of the
abbreviations you see are from the list inside the registration form,
i.e.
the two letter BSA code. Many do not know that such exists. To check
them
out, look inside the cover of the registration form (at least that's
where
they used to be)
