Anyone flesh out this story?

Headline on WLS Chicago- The City of Chicago has pulled its support
(sponsorship?) of some boy scout units because of a lawsuit against the
city. The suit contended that the city should not be supporting programs
which discriminate against gays and require a religious oath. I think I
heard the announcer say that a crime stopper unit has stepped in to help-
to what degree I don't know. Anyone in the upper midwest (Chicago?) know
anymore? Thanks.
