Hi,

My name is Tim Krantz and I am an assistant scoutmaster in Troop 335 in =
charge of a venture crew in Tehachapi, California. I work at =
Northrop-Grumman Corporation (soon to become Lockheed-Martin) as an =
Automated Systems Analyst on the B-2 Program.
I was a very active Boy Scout in Troop 321 in Findlay, Ohio from 1964 to =
1971. The highlights of my boy scouting experiences include attaining =
the Eagle Rank, being a member of the Order of the Arrow and attending =
Philmount Scout Ranch.
I moved from Findlay to California in 1976. I got married in 1977 =
(Mary) and fathered two children (Jaclyn 1978 and Ryan 1983).
I got back into scouts as Cub Pack 335 treasurer in 1992 shortly after =
Ryan joined Cub Scouts.
I joined Troop 335 in 1995 as an assistant scoutmaster when Ryan bridged =
over to the Troop. Troop 335 is not nearly as active as Troop 321 was =
when I was a Boy Scout and even though we live in rural environment, the =
boys are more interested in television, hotels and amusement parks than =
camping, hiking and tying knots. Like most Troops we are having trouble =
keeping the older boys involved and have just started a venture crew to =
perk up their interest.

I look forward to sharing the scouting experience and thank you for the =
opportunity to do so!

Tim Krantz
