In the past, I too felt I was dealing with an IRS procedure in trying to
understand Scout-L Archieves. It probably makes perfect sense to those who
delve into how their computer works, but for those of us who are at the
"when I push the button nuthin works like it shuda..."

I have used the archieve via www.Scouter.com go to the compass, hit
discussion groups and access it thru there (or you might have to hit
Scouts-L and the link will become apparent...) It becomes tremendously
easy to do a/some keywords in the search box and get results.

My guess, the Archieve was available before the development of that site
and facilitated (and still does) those who had e-mail but not wdb access.

Speaking of Scouter.com, I'm looking FORWARD to the Feb. 1 re-premiere.
Ahhhh won't it be fine if they were mailed to arrive on Feb. 1....
