Re: Name Tags (Embroider name directly on uniform shirt)

The embroidered version is an excellent idea. I know of one troop that
actually has the name directly embroidered on the shirt in the spot where
a clip on name tag would normally be worn. This works well because it
never gets lost, removed, or broken. Cost is about $3 per shirt at most
embroidery/sports shops that do embroidery for athletic wear. The
approved location is directly above the right pocket and just below where
a jamboree emblem would be worn if I recall the information from the
insignia guide correctly.
