The Webelos colors represent the three major programs in Scouting: Cub
Scouts (Gold), Boy Scouts (Red), and Explorers (Green). I have always told
my boys that when they receive their Webelos neckerchief that they are
wearing All of Scouting, their history (Cubs Scouts) and their future (Boy
Scouts and Exploring).
