Please answer the following about the Pinewood Derby Racing rules in your
district or council: E-Mail to me, please, to avoid cluttering the List. I
will
post the summary.

For youth's Cars entered in your Races...

1. Must the grooves in the block be used for holding the axles?

2. Must the original block's wheel base be preserved?

3. Must the original block's wheel location relative to the front of the car
be
preserved?

4. May the shape of the wheel's tread profile be changed (i.e. Vee'ed,
grooved,
etc.)?

5. May the mass of the wheels be changed significantly (addition or removal)?

6. May the wheel hub's inside diameter be changed significantly, e.g. by
bushing or sleeve?

7. What is your BSA Council (or other applicable administrative unit)?

Thank you. Please E-Mail to standcmr@aol.com

I will summarize responses received by Jan 31 and post the results here.

Regards,
Stan Pope (Lilchpin Elangomat)
