Re: What is Kunieh?

I know that Ku-Ni-Eh is, or was, a lodge in Ohio when I was inducted
into the Order in 1979 (Katinonkwat #93). As I said, I don't know if it
was part of the merge that became Tecumseh Lodge #65.

A long while back there was a brief list discussion on the history of
the OA that included a mention of Kunieh. What are some of the details
of this group and how did it differ from OA? I was tapped out into
Kawida 480(1980) was a member for several years and then stepped out of
scouting for several years. When I became active again in the OA it was
in Egwa Tawa Dee (129) and noticed many differences in ceremonies, etc
(at least versus my memory). Could the Kunieh influence in 480 affect
their ceremonies?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

YIS,
Donald Dillon
