Pete,
Try using Goop jewelry glue. I've used this for lots of things, scouting
and otherwise and it's always worked. Findings glued with hot glue came
appart but when I made arrowhead bolo ties for my Pack Leaders over a
year ago there have been no problems. Lots of hobby and crafts stores
carry it and some hardware stores do, too. I got mine in the crafts dept
of Walmart near the beads.
Follow the instructions and use it in a well ventelated area.
Good Luck,
