Maryland also distributes Voter Registration form at the MVA; I believe
you can still pick them up at the local library in Montgomery county MD
as well.
On the other point, it is _probably_ true that survey or statistical data
would prove such a belief wrong. Since the 1960s, increasing numbers of
people have been registered, and increasingly, the Republicans win
elections. Evidently people must figure that registering equals casting
a one-time permanent ballot?
