You are right, the Scout Law does not mention God anywhere. Please don't
forget the Scout Oath however, where you are pledging to "do your duty to
GOD and your Country". Should people be allowed which Scouting principles
to follow, or is it a package deal?
BTW, I am glad you mention deep respect for your parents and mentors, as
this is very important.
