Religious Awards

Someone will have an answer for this one, I know.

At Roundtable I was asked by a female Scouter: "Can I wear my religious
awards earned as a Girl Scout youth on my BSA uniform?"

My initial response was "probably" because it is the religious organizations
which authorizes the religious awards and therefore a female Scouter who
earned the religious awards of her church should be able to wear the knots.

Can anyone confirm or correct my response?
