Re: 17 at one court and ohter items

I have been tto several Eagle Courts of Honor with multiple recipants.
With the exception of two, they all had a common thread, they were all
LDS troops. The first exception was a pair of Brothers who made it one
month apart. The second was two friends who moved in tandem thru the
ranks and demanded it of the parents. I think I shall have one more
exception, a pair of twins who were with my minature Eagle <G> at
Jamboree and mad it together.
As to camping Awards, in Southern california, we have resolveed the
issue in this manner. what really counts is the night. Without it you
haven't camped..The Council High Adventure Team have created a series of
Nights Camping Awards Scaled in such a way that a boy could earn several
in a year. It hardly seems likely that a boy could complete 100 nights
camping in a single year and keep heis grades up and advance thru
scouting and be a boy leader but 50 is possible. My eagle did it. The
awards start out so small that a new scout going to Summer camp can win
the first one at first Court of Honor.
