And while you're doing that, try getting a Scout Handbook, Fieldbook, and
other goodies in the library.
And if your council has the funds to buy BL in quantity, they can get a whole
lot of good will by ordering the bundle of 100 or whatever and forwarding them
to the libraries free of charge.
My Post is about to do that with EXPLORING magazine, except we're putting a
label about us in the address section and getting it out to doctors, dentists,
and veterinarians offices at no cost to them. How many magazines are there
that are directed at 14-20 year olds? Will they pick them up and get
interested? We hope so, and it's only costing us about $27.00 a bundle or so.
