High Adventure plans fell through, need new Ideas quickly

Paul Clemmensen (clemmp@CHAMPINT.COM)

I once again bow to the wisdom of "The List". I am in need of advice.

Our Troop was planning on a sailing high adventure this summer (week of
June 20th) out of Savannah, but it appears that the explorer post has
recently fell onto hard times, and can no longer guarantee a program for
us. I've got about 16 scouts and 4 adults that were looking for some High
Adventure activities.

Does anyone have any ideas or contacts for activities? Our target area can
include Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, the Carolina's, or
northern Georgia. Some ideas that have been suggested (but I haven't any
contact info) include the New River, the Daniel Boone Scout Camp which I
believe is in Tennessee.

Please, if you have any ideas (with addresses or phone numbers when
possible), please send them directly to me at CLEMMP@CHAMPINT.COM.

I know this list has thousands of great scouters that are always willing to
help. Thanks in advance.
