Explorer Leader Training

I am hoping to gleen some group wisdom. It is time that our fledgling
Post have it's first Exlorer Leadership Training session. We have been
muddling along for awhile, but are determined to deliver the program
properly. Some questions to the List:
As an 8 active member post, should we have training open to all members?
The format suggests an all day program, most of the youth have held or
still hold leadership postitions within their respective Scout units.
Any suggestions on abbrevating or expanding the syllabus?
What training aids are available? I have heard a rumor of a video tape,
are there any opinions on the use of the tape and its quality?
I appreciate all input. I am cross-posting this message to the
Explorer-L; however, I have not seen any activity on that list in quite
sometime and am not sure of the list status.
