Longhorn Council, Tonkawa District lost a super Scouter December 7, 1997
at 11:00 am.
Billy Drake passed away due to complications from heart disease.
Billy was a Scouter of more than 30 years. His awards included the
District Award of Merit, Scouters Key, Den Leaders Training Award, And
the Silver Beaver. Billy was a fixture at Roundtable, District
Committee, and Cub Scout Leader Training Courses. At the time of his
death, he was serving as Cubmaster of Pack 2.
Funeral Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in
Lewisville, Texas at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 10.
