We are planning a Saturday First Aid fair and Lockin in March. Our intent
is to teach First Aid to a higher level than the First Aid MB requires. I
have two MDs and an EMT from the local Search and Rescue unit squad as
committee members or ASMs. They are planning and putting this on for the
troop. Scout should be able to earn the First Aid MB and below first class
requirements for first aid and then some. Our theme for the month will be
first aid also. This will give four meetings and a day to work on it.
Again our intent is to provide advanced skills for Scouts that already
have First Aid MB. We will end the day with an overnighter at a game
arcade.
Have a Thanksgiving. My Turkey is waiting to be stuffed and I must go.
