Ron,
In Troop 113 we have regularly scheduled Boards of Review at the first
troop meeting each month. We try to get SM conferences done no later
than the week before, but if a SM conference has to be held on the same
night as the BOR for one reason or another, so be it. We go ahead and do
it. We don't make the kid call ahead and set up an appaointment or ask
for a BOR, although he has to let the advancement chair know when he's
had his SM conference and when all his requirements for the rank in
question are signed off.
YiS,
Pete Farnham
