Well, I survived pow wow this weekend. Actually I think I did ok with the
classes I was teaching. The classes were small, which was good and bad. I
could handle individual situations a little easier, but there wasn't enough
discussion and sharing. At least IMHO.
The turn out wasn't too bad. I think we had nearly 100 attend. This is
down from the first year or two that I went, but it is a slight rise from
last years numbers.
I have noticed that our council does not seem to be able to get
participation in large numbers. I don't know if it is how our council is
run, it's size or just a lack of interest. I am always looking for things
to go to that will help me learn and grow, possibly I am the exception and
not the rule??
Hopefully one of these years I will be invited to Wood Badge. I am sure it
will be quite a while before that happens, there are too many others who are
more deserving, but it is one of my goals.
I also wanted to thank everyone who has given words of advice or information
to add for the book. I have had wonderful responses. I am now dedicating 2
hours every day to putting things together. i will try to keep everyone
posted on how things are going.
Thanks for listening yet again.
